Tom took over the now IV Men’s Championship after the local newspaper dropped its sponsorship and has done an amazing job in keeping the perennial local tournament running and making it the most looked forward to event of the year for all local golfers.

Mason was one of the first individuals brought on by Tom back in 2016 to help grow the event. Mason has become a face of the event as well as being a yearly favorite to win the championship with his consistent play and high finishes. Mason is the current golf coach at Hall high school.

Patrick is the other member brought on by Tom back in 2016 and has done an amazing job to grow the IV Men’s to the largest it has ever been. Patrick is a crowd favorite to all players and is a seasoned competitor. Patrick is the current ladies golf coach at LP.

Patrick or “Guiley” was brought on to the committee in 2020 to help organize.the ever growing field. Guiley has been an integral part in implementing new technology you see at the events such as the live leaderboard, pre-registration, and the IV Mens website. He also is the Directore of the IV Mens Matchplay Tournament. Guiley is a graduate of Mendota and 5 year collegiate athlete who has multiple top finishes in the areas local events. Patrick is a former Head Coach for the IVCC Eagles Men’s Golf Team. (2022-2024)

Abby is the newest member of the committee brought on in 2024 and is a native of Mendota and a prominent figure to the womens golf events throughout the Ilinois Valley both playing and organizing events. Abby has always been quick to be a volunteer in many IV Mens Championship and she is now coming on to the committee in 2024 as head of photography and post round updates.
